Although I am a Republican and probably consider part of the "religious right", there was actually a little bit in your post I agreed with you on. ;) It really bothers me when a self-proclaimed Christian lacks compassion and appoints themselves as judge. There is a lot in this world I don't agree with, but God did give us free will and in the end it is to Him we will be accountable, not to our "neighbors". Unfortunately, some treat Christianity as a "label" not a lifestyle or responsiblility. I'm intriqued by some of your beliefs since you are a Democrat, because it isn't often what is heard from the "left". I applaud you for standing up for what you believe in, even if you are wrong {j/k} ... even when I may disagree. None of us has 100% of the info 100% of the time and we've had different life experiences and feel different about different topics... we'll each be right sometimes and we'll each be wrong sometimes... It is a shame the way politics seriously bring out the meanness is some people. It shouldn't be that way.
